La Gustav, the academy for young talents
In April 2024, around twenty young Swiss musicians came together for a creative camp organized by La Gustav, an academy dedicated to young musical talent. During the camp, they composed pieces based on their musical affinities and preferences, with the aim of presenting a high-quality concert combining a variety of styles at a Final Show at Fri-Son in October. Throughout the creative process, these young artists benefited from the support of music professionals, enabling them to progress and gain the experience necessary to develop their artistic career and stand on their own two feet in their future artistic career.
Exhibition by Fanny Dreyer, Vamille and Line Rime
At the end of October, L’Atelier (formerly the Gutenberg Museum) hosted the joint exhibition of three artists from Fribourg: Fanny Dreyer, children’s book illustrator, Vamille, manga author, and Line Rime, fanzine illustrator. These multi-talented artists presented their personal works and offered to sign them as part of the BDmania festival. Guided tours by the artists and activities for children completed the event. The success of this exhibition is a wonderful recognition of the talent of these Fribourg illustrators.
